(Right Photo Above) Tiffany TAM has been a C.A.C.A. Youth Club member for 4 years, serving as parliamentarian for the year 2019-2020. In the fall, Tiffany will be attending the University of Texas at Austin to major in chemical engineering. After college, Tiffany aspires to be an accomplished chemical engineer working for an industry-leading tech or petrochemical company.
Tiffany graduated Summa Cum Laude in her class at Elkins High School while holding the honor of academic excellence each year and being a College Board AP Scholar with Honor. While balancing her studies, Tiffany was active in multiple clubs and honor societies such as Mu Alpha Theta, Rho Kappa, National Honor Society, Red Cross, and Spanish National Honor Society.
Tiffany is the second daughter of four children to David and Susan Tam. Tiffany possesses immense love for her family and is proud to cultivate and promote her Chinese heritage.
(Left Photo Above) Ashley TRAN is a graduating senior of I.H. Kempner High School. Throughout these past four years, she’s been involved in the Math, English, Science, and National Honor Societies. Her passion for medicine has led to a focus in healthcare classes as well as healthcare-oriented competitions. During Ashley’s senior year, she became the president of Kempner’s HOSA - a student organization aimed at providing unique opportunities for those pursuing healthcare as a career. Competing in Medical Spelling, Ashley progressed to nationals, the first to have done so in Kempner HOSA history. Outside of school, Ashley spends her free time volunteering at fundraising events for health organizations such as the American Cancer Society and Walk to End Alzheimer’s. She hopes that by bringing awareness to these events, her fellow HOSA members will discover causes they are passionate about. This coming fall, Ashley will be attending the University of Texas at Dallas, majoring in Biology on a pre-med track. She plans to attend medical school in the future with an interest in ophthalmology.
