Eligibility to enter:
An applicant shall be a single female who has never been married, of
Chinese ancestry (father is Chinese), between the ages of 17-25.
Proof of US Citizenship or
Permanent Residency is
required. Applicant must be a high school graduate by
August of 2010.
Cash Scholarships:
Miss Chinatown Houston - $2,000.00
First Princess Miss
Chinese New Year - $1,000.00
Second Princess - $750.00
Miss Talent - $500.00
Contestant participant - $350.00
Miss Congeniality additional $100.00
Other prizes: Each contestant
receives a trophy and an Alvin Gee classic framed color portrait, a $560.00
value. Miss Chinatown Houston will be sponsored
($2,000.00 entry fee) to compete in the
Miss Chinatown USA Pageant held in San Francisco during Chinese New
Year 2011.
A maximum of ten contestants
will be accepted. Applications will be available at the
meeting. Priority deadline is
April 15, 2010.
Entry closing date is
May 10, 2010.
No entry fee or contestant
sponsorship is required.
