Benefiting HOPE Clinic recipients

During the month of December the Houston Lodge was busily collecting items for the HOPE Clinic’s needy families.  Our wonderful Youth Club was led by Kristy Eng and Jessica Lee, who spear headed and represented the youth in action.  We collected presents for the children of seven different families as well as giving clothing, food, and household items.  These families were identified as being the most in need by Hope clinic.   During our regular December meeting, a member motioned that we give our gift exchange items to the families instead of to each other- motion passed!

The HOPE clinic was founded by Beverly J. Gor, Ph D, who is the wife of our Grand Executive Ed Gor.  HOPE clinic was one of her visions to fulfill a need in the Asian community.  It began with volunteers and now is funded through grants.
